RustyStumps It took less than a week to receive Rusty’s O scale Freight Depot after placing the order. Now that’s impressive. With a corrugated Iron roof it will fit beautifully into Britannia Creek.

rrlinelogosteam03A very friendly and enjoyable forum for those interested in discussing many aspects of the hobby, especially scenery and fine scale structures.

Manufacturers & Suppliers (Please note that we have no affiliation with any of these companies other than by being a customer with positive experience of their goods and services)

American Model Builders - The people who make the Martinsburg Mine

Digital Plus by Lenz Good products and warranty. Generously and farsightedly opened their initial DCC designs to the whole model rail community via the National Model Rail Association (NMRA). This effectively made it an international standard for what we know as Digital Command Control. This means that manufacturers can produce complementary and/or compatible products, as least as far as decoders and some other equipment is concerned. It allows some to specialise in what they do best. We all benefit from this generous approach. Lenz Yahoo Forum

Micromark Lots of handy tools and stock Bachmann Shay and Climax

Railcar An Australian based model railroad mail order business specialising in Narrow Gauge.

Roco Excellent DCC starter kit, with pretty much all you need, including power supply to get going. The handsets are very easy to use and great for children as young as four or five. The Roco system is very easy to set up. Highly compatible with Lenz XpressNet so if you take DCC further your initial investment is not wasted.

Red Roo Models Australian supplier of EZ Line, an elastic polymer that can stretch up to 700% and retain its original tension. Ideal for model phone lines, fences, etc)

Paper Creek Source of ’texture sheets’ for corrugated iron and painter wooden walls.

Scale Link - source of etched brass foliage

Soundtraxx  Great sound decoders (we have them in our Shay, Climax and American 4-4-0 and they are excellent)

Tichy Train Group scale detail parts such a Nut, Bolt, Washer units. Great service. Take careful note of the dimensions when ordering the standard O scale NBW as they are quite small.

Tony’s Train Exchange Supplied our Lenz system and reverse loop controllers. Reliable and good clear advice.
